Please Help These Kids !!!

Even $ 1 Will Help These Young People Get Back On Their Feet !

I'm writing this letter in regards to a young woman I know.

A delightfully sweet girl, who has had her share of misfortune, living in Barry County, Mo..

Recently, her husband had, foolishly, been drinking and insisted on driving home. They were in an auto accident and their vehicle was totaled. Thankfully, no one was injured. Sadly, they had no insurance.

Her husband is a young Mexican, who has been raised in the United States, and he still hasn't obtained the proper work permits or citizenship, though he is diligently trying to do so. He was charged with a DUI and of course, Immigration, immediately put a "Hold" on him. He was, subsequently, told by the Immigration Court, in Kansas City, that due to the fact that his paperwork isn't in order yet, that he cannot work. When he asked how he was supposed to support his family, the judge told the wife ( whom this letter is about), to get 2 jobs.

Of course, he was uninterested in the fact that she will now have to care for their children, ages 7,6,3 and 10 months, by herself, with no help or income from him.Incidentally, it also made no impression on the judge that she is now 5 1/2 months pregnant.

Now, here she is, pregnant, with 4 small children to care for and no income or help from a husband, whom immigration is considering sending back to Mexico(where he has NEVER lived)for at least 10 years. Thank God, that we are not all sent to some Foreign (to us) country, for our mistakes. No vehicle, since theirs was totaled and it would cost over $2,000.00 to fix and no job.

A very small check from "Family Services, and few food stamps. The same week of the accident and incarceration of her husband, the city turned off her water, because they couldn't wait 1 day for their money. Several area churches were called and asked if they could please help to get the water back on. They all responded that " We don't help with that sort of situation." A week later, Family Services and OACAC Offices, did get the water back on for them, Thank the Good Lord !!

Her landlord has "graciously" given her 30 days to move! She can't pay the rent, let alone find the money to move and get another place for her and the kids to live.

This girl is one of the most caring and giving people I have ever known. She is always the first to help anyone in need and yet it seems as if there is nobody willing to help her now, in her time of need.

We, in this country, who take so much for granted and send so many dollars overseas, to help those less fortunate than ourselves, should be ashamed, if we can't help (even a small amount) someone in our own country, state or county.

This is not a scam or ploy for someone to get rich. This young lady desperately NEEDS a little help.

If you can be of any assistance to this young lady and her children, please send what you can, to:
